–Lessons on a Half-Moon Painted- (Sonnet #1) —

The half-moon drawn on painted sky tonight
Proves wonder of the you and I in sight.
There’s lessons learned in proof of Truth so reeled,
While pasts, austere, are languid, not concealed.
The lunar crescent, bright now in our view
Shines wonder ’round the circling of you.
These gentle words cannot be o’erly stressed,
Past conflicts quelled, our damage laid to rest.
Words new in Hope, like liquid from our lips,
Are clearly breathed in lieu of written scripts.
Lines now, perhaps, are drawn ‘pon face and brow,
Translucent in the echoe of our now.
…….Half-moon is illustrative of sincere,
…….Full hung on our tomorrow’s atmosphere.
