how is this city itself or how are things going here for me personally. The city’s doing alright, since everyone’s starting to recover from the big disappointment on Superbowl Sunday. I heard there was a lot of craziness going on this weekend because of Mardi Gras festivities, but I didn’t get around to checking any of them out. From what people who were there have told me, it’s definetly something I’ll check out next year (’cause then I’ll be 21!).
Personally, I’ve been doing pretty good. I just found out about this litmag accepting submissions through an on-campus bullitin. I sent in a few stories yesterday, and today I found out they’re going to use at least one of them. What’s really cool is that at first I thought it was something that was just going to be handed out around this campus, but the dude behind the whole operation said he was going to drop the mags off on several campuses, along with on the Delmar loop, which is going to be awesome.
So how’s, uh…, whatever city you’re in?
