is hardly a part of me

CANDY KISSES
lemon drops from gramps
a sentimental favorite
dark chocolate dreams

DANCE FOR LIFE
sometimes i channel
andy koffman jigs and twists
belly dancing laughs

READ ON
On the Road again
since I have to stay at home
Jack and Neal redux

ON TOP OF PIZZA
I just like the cheese
no other toppings for me
cheese and crust with wine

FAMOUS ME?
Never want famous
it is lonely at the top
ordinary me

HABITUAL
smoking nicotine
love and hate rolled up in one
i will keep trying

DRINK UP
cool clear wet water
simple tastes for simple mind
pause that refreshes

REAL TOY
cactus, my stickhorse
riding into the sunset
cowgirl on the loose

FLOWERING
prickly pears bloomin’
what better flower for me
buddhabitch in bud

CRYING TO READ OR WATCH
i tear every day
today for Daniel the Pearl
mourning newspaper

MUSICAL ME
i make cecil hummmm
the only instrument played
and he makes me sing

EATING WORMS FOR A MIL
not even for two
what would worms think about that?
compost the money

JOB VS WORK
anything called ‘job’
without passion or lovelife
washing dishes art

CLOTHES HAMPER
anything can go
nonattachment to my clothes
rather fond of skin
