Pithecanthropus Erectus

He moves with no heard
He hunts alone
A prehistoric hermit
He stands
Laughs
For vengeance is his
He walks
He gloats
He gains his power

Stands

All the souls of earth at his
Disposal
He rules the world
So he sits and watches
Empires grow
Die
Wars come
Pass
And the same with peace times
But as he sits and watches
He feels pain

A rock
A reality
A jabbing curse
His own fault
Pain

Immersed within his soul
He struggles
He fights
He grows
But the pain is still there
His empire grows
Wars
Battles
Fights
Time
It passes on
But he still feels

Pain

He stands and yells
Releasing his own nuclear rage
He destroys what he has built
A world gone
All that’s left
A solitary soul gleaming out he stands as he began
Alone
man
