Pride

Pride
It drives men to do many things
Better wealth
Prosperity
Hatred
And eventually death
It makes him full of
False emotions
It pushes and squeezes him
Twisting him to its will
But he doesn’t even struggle to fight it
Blinded by the sins it brings him
It is a malevolence hidden behind a false emotion
It takes a true kind man
And turns him into a stubborn scoundrel
But what can we do to fight something
Which we can’t control
The only cure for pride is meekness
Whose soul drives no man to any useless boundaries
But who will listen to his call
For pride has already entangled them all
And humbleness shall never rule the world
A war never fought
And a war never to be won
For who is to fight it?
