it’s not much of a circle
this amateur saturday
da-dum drum circle,
bodies scattered all about
pitching in on small bongos
pots & pans, tub bottoms,
buckets, baby rattles,
a can with beans inside
two sticks banged together
a wood block, a chime
& me on an an old mica snare
set to tom tom mode
tribal native american
chippewa log patterns
over & over & over
that sound like these words:
rhythm singing, singing loud
rhythm singing, singing loud
rhythm singing, singing loud
rhythm singing, singing loud
rhythm singing, singing loud
rhythm singing, singing loud;
then changing to:
here i am talking body singing man singing rhythm finding gold here in the sun
here i am talking body singing man singing rhythm finding gold here in the sun
here i am talking body singing man singing rhythm finding gold here in the sun
here i am talking body singing man singing rhythm finding gold here in the sun
here i am talking body singing man singing rhythm finding gold here in the sun
& in trance phase this goes on
while the neighbor asks
what the hell is happening.
