5 shadows of the clock

turn so slowly
candles mischief
with all serious attempt
at ancient hieroglyphs on my wall

think of the Buddha
i was once told
but my buddha is happy
and smiles with the dancing
shadows. Not a serious
bone in his glorious image
listen to the silence
listen to my breathing
there comes a chuckle
once more as the
ghosts of spirits pass
the hidden hours of the
morning
in whispered hide and seek
kings
need coffee too
