equals soap dissolving
into equatorial abysses
where compass’ twisted arms
run off their spindles
where beasts crawl devouring
in an entanglement of eyes
when eternity falls flat
and is yet another parlor trick
for the mumble bum magicians
where spinal cords
are pushed forward
without compromise
by stone hands
that are unknown
and at unwanted angles
as flesh peels sunburnt
under cascading hallucinations
of a bleached figure of sun
