you’ll always hide

in the heaving
of your green air
that vanishes into
the breath
of summer
you’ll always fall
into my dream
beyond the grasp
of too bright
daylight
green
and within that green
a feeling of blue
call it sky
call it eye
call it a crimson feathered soul
heavier than stone
hurled down to a desert
rainbow rose
as if because of this green
there could be this blue
as if it were nothing
but the idea
of something
you had lost
within
as if in the
idea of rain
the heart could master
the language
of any given
moment
silently
without
breaking
