Allen Ginsberg! island of gold and cool currents
comforting warmth in your harbor.
Angels of Lorca breeze through your back yard
enter the back door rejoicing.

Ginsberg! Rose in your brain! I love you!
Ginsberg! Metallic symphony of sirens calls after you.
Ginsberg! Know now that the world lusts for you.
Allen Ginsberg! I know that I will dine with you
and when we do I’ll convulse under stars
and they all will shine with you.

Allen, comatose with your brains in your hands,
you stand naked euphoric
under the eyes of prophetic
kinetic energy void.

All the ages packed into one golden ray
that warms the shirt on your cold shoulders
while you carry the cross of the lonely
America.
