quietly, I discover

Quietly, I discover.
Mystery condenses into droplets.
Sliding off my glass.
I sip the epiphany,
Nursing a stagnant glory.
Brushing off the mosquito possibilities,
And searching for a napkin.
Feeling the flow of moisture and air from my shoulder,
The synchronicity of search and find is reduced
To the evaporating crumbs on the plate.
Contemplation turns into a warm soporific sensation.
The haze, the Van Gogh halo fades
In a symphony of acrylic dissolving into the pallid tiles
On the dusty floor.
As I finish my drink,
The only reminders of such outlandish revolution
Is the moist rings left on the table.
This I quietly discover.
