i started with an idea… and it kept running away from me – so wound up with three destinations instead of one… take your pick… placed here for your reading pleasure – the first was my original idea – it seemed a bit gloomy

whittled down
by life’s demands
society’s beast
holding me in its hands
cutting here
shaving there
carving something
i cannot control
getting lost
in the slashes
of knife on dreams
destroying my creation
and now
it’s gone
