Damn You (call me)

damn you
made me spill my tea
all over every thing
all over her
and me trying to see
what you just said
memories of beaches
trains and theaters
thunder
heaven
going round
(you traitor)
round inside my head
instead of what
i am trying to do
typical me
the thought of you
(your wrdz, your sound)
more important than
my hunger and my thirst
the worst of which
are all for you
all for you

where were you
where you were
(damn you)
when you called me gone
wings of a dark angel
a pseudo deity
wrapt round you
and where was I that
I couldn’t see
(i couldn’t feel)
you never left my side
but stayed
an albatross round my neck
iron chastity you never felt
in claws that squeeze my heart
poisoned bill sunk
deep into my jugular
to caw and harangue
(when i tried to forget you)
and leak out
all my life in
indigocrimson drips
that you collected
blended bitter bile
and feral heartears
and longing
(you know i longed)
for you
a potent potion
so you’d know that
I’d go nowhere
without you
damn
you make me smile
(call me)
