Parent message is 293007
that cupid punch
of yours always
strikes me as so sarcastic
still while i see your smile
the one that leaps up
at me
like that time
in a coldwater flat
where we sat
indian style
lovers in lies
no more crowds
just me and you
how you won me over then
revealing to me who you really are
lifting my palms
like a hurricane
you could have had anyone
you chose me instead,
touched my lips
and at that perfect moment
you leapt up and made
me laugh
to see your klacking heels
walking upside down the walls
ceiling smiling falling into my arms
legs in love, akimbo, noses like
penguin eskimos
rubbing musk nose to nose
fluttering eyelids
and later
hours later
when you slept
beside me, curled
against the little dog
i heard your breathing
low against the rising wind
the hurricane of you
swept me away
i crawled inside you
and like the little dog
i was forever safe
and always loved
for sleepy eternity
