lunch interlude

i hear voices
backgound colors
that hide
in the walls
stepping into
my head
stomping concentration
cause they’re
too loud
i want to melt
into my chair
become fibers
and filling
cause i am
empty
tired of everything
etiquette
regulation
faces
time constraint
limitation
deadline
routine
lacking
i feel
the day
wrap tentecales
around me
to squeeze
out the anger
that surfaces
in diatribes
i piece together
from the lint
in my office
suffocating
from oxygen deprivation
while breeders
drones
walk in
designer clothes
smiling with
plastic teeth
artificial as
their way of life
i want change
to open up
from the earth
swallowing it all
leaving me behind
with silence
that only
the radio breaks open
to recreate
the foundations
of regular work
my life
is a clear
bottle of
h2o
that sets there
waiting
for five to come
and life to
begin…
