holding me from hoping

It saddens my soul to be behind walls when the sun shines so,
and this hatred I harbour is holding me from hoping too much about the golden bueaty just there on the other side of this window,
she stands there in the sun’s bright breeze and breaths in tropic air,
while I sit here and stare and wish I didn’t have the hate that holds me from being fair,
I hold my controls in my right and my responsibity in my left and ask for a break
