through the fastfood stands
i know i am american
mac donald is me
and i hold high the right
to fry food
and long live cholesterol

dark age me!
it’s my right
to wear blinders
i am protected
for i walk in the shadow
of Big!

brother hung over me
my black brother hung for my sins
and i did commit and i do commit them still
for my right is to be wrong

i walk in the sun
of the biggest planet in the Universe
i am the center of stupidity
i claim my right
to climb to the pinnacle
of zero

i
becomes
eye in the $
my heart and my soul
ring from fools gold
but it is my right
to spend
what i have not

hear me
for i am
the ear that will not listen
the secretary who does not record
the reader who sees no word
the voice of emptiness

is there sound
from the valley of nothing?
