oblivious, moon-like
distant,
earth shine revealing
the hidden curve of gibbious

would describe you.
floating along my
dew drop, ink black sky,
withholding secrets in the crook
of your palm.

a universe oozes out of our hands,
holding more than our share,
running down to our elbows.

a dripping painting,
crammed the canvas to its brink
spatter the floor in
primaries and greys.

just like you,
greedy, oblivious–
Cheshire-cat curve
to your earthshine smile.
