Midnight rambling

Purposeful I’m strolling now,
past my dreams of long ago,
Twisted by that midnight rambling,
I’m sliding past the few,
Candles burning
I’ve tasted that mist of madness,
Deciet has followed me round the corner,
But I’m too shy to say hello,
Whispering my teardrop dreams,
looking for something new,
waiting now for a piece of mind,
something to call true.
For who am I to question?
when light has turned her back?
Who am I to wonder why
when were slipping into love?
falling safely into the arms of tomorrow
and I can’t wait!
