interrupt me

there are scents of morning stars
in your hair,
the touch of harvesting fields in your hands.
eyes of smoky glass that etche against my ears
yeah
and
yeah
and
yeah.
i’m here in this mayhem of a day
on the heels of bliss from yesterday
holding dear this thought of disappearing
into you
with you.
ten minutes and i’ll be gone again.
into madness of voices a million fold.
all the while i’ll cross my legs
under my desk
and think secret black stocking thoughts of you
and you’ll know
when you hear my sighs
with their lacey edges and silky lines
that i’m less than innocent.
interrupt this day of blasting music
and wired lines of nonsense
with your sweet attacks of smalls of backs
brushes of lips
eye gazing
and hey, you
yeahs.
hey
you
yeah,
interrupt me…
