not only flying but flowing
drifting through this life
in a white crown of feathers

i staring ,anderson’s ugly duckling
dreaming wishing hoping that i too someday will soar with you and your kind

struggling to get off the ground i chase you
flying a few feet i have finally made it

then i tumble…the ducks in the pond snicker, but one day i will be the epitome of grace skill and beauty…one day
