i will join you soaring
lives on wings enduring
the take off,
lifted into ecstasy,
free oh free in freedom
on a breeze,
the span spread
float, indemnity in air!

and we’ll be there
riding currents,
the dare of souls
on wing!

oh yes!
oh yes! my god, i will
be there, my heart
in sing!

sweet harmony
of flight! sweet
awe our goodnight,
a kiss upon
the brow,
the morning
bright
to come
somehow

and you,
waved inside
tides that only god
controls, so whole
so very full of yes

so whole in steer
of tidal pulls by moon!

and me above you
praying for
your coming
home,
the fire
inside
a beckoning,
the reckoning
a sail to sweep
the salted deep
in tow

oh yes
oh yes!
my prayers
answered quick!

so whole so whole
and not a fraction
of a second
less than
quick
or soon,
you’re home
before the afternoon
and soon we will have tea!!!!!
