stanger seconds

the day drugged my senses, making the stimgata in my eyes, bleed out with sacrilege, while the words fell flat at the bottom of a coke can, coke snorts, coke dreams, coke numbness, i felt those fingers, invade my flesh, before i reacted, letting the minutes walk over the concrete of my back, brittle as the time we once had, my face swollen from the need, that takes tangible forms, slipping liquids into my veins, that stir up my visions, waking me up in the middle of the night with cameos, guest appearances from the history of dirt and mortar, that builds the bones in my body, riding along the femur, humor, tibia, scapula, sporatic as the smells of yesterday, that can slap my face wide open, crashing into my small world, shattering the effects of past experience, reborn scars that burn themselves in esoteric characters of an ancient language over the tender tones of my fleshy shell, ‘oh my baby girl, oh my baby ak’, vibrating behind the walls with rat claws, that can dig trenches into yesterday, written upon my face today, when the wind soothes my aches and cracks, i can stare into tomorrows with no wants, floating on words obsidian, with momma voice and papa heart, i thrive in the greens of my own irises…
