another day

lettin the words
recoil
down my arms
limp
limbs
that find ways
to finish
the sentences
i tried
to speak
my legs
shaky
in the breeze
of disregard
lettin your face(s)
fall down
into the ocean
mixin with
the blue white
crests
of waves
that say
goodbye
i feel the eyes
burrow
into the back
of my head
wormholing
without effect
as i adamant
and forget the ways
when we were
crumpled heartbeats
stuffed
at the bottom
of uhaul boxes
in the middle
of the day
when you were
a failure
and i was
blind
foreign material
injected into
my consciousness
while you widdle
away
from memory
drownin
deeper
deeper
into body tissue
languid as
green eyes
that mark me
pinnin me into
masturbatory dreams
when breath
exhales my frame
and your hands
find
me
distant in
the cornea
cryin tears
made of embers
left by
time
that scarred
my chest
reachin for
my heart
without accord
and i fall
into sleep
where
visions chase me
into flesh
and
i scream
silent movie pictures
black
and white
fragile
in scent
that crawls
on it’s belly
between the cracks
in the concrete
that keep
the imprints
of my missed mouth
moist and bloody

unaware
of you
in the shadow
of my subconscious
my hands
wet
to drift
into
the sky
and…
i’m
gone…
