Purlein Coast

Rabitt runs by,
squirrel,
opossum,
thousands of spiders,
in my back yard.
Ohio heat, feel it or it feels you.
Wander to sea, to see
the Purlein Coast;
the water and
the sky
in matrimony!
Let the stringed instruments twing
and the woodwinds wind,
and the bass drum boom
until the moment passes
and we can relax
and let the incessant call for quiet
wash upon the shores here.
There will be music,
there will be dancing;
here, on the Purlein Coast.
Our hands will tap in time,
our fingers interwoven,
candles blinking out –
giving birth to smoke.
Gentlewoman in a party dress –
long and white and flowing and glowing –
do you too dare to see the sea?
Have you come for me?
I adore the wilds,
and what the wind does to your hair.
I adore the hills,
of your pursed, red lips.
I adore the mild,
soft music I hear when I think of you.
I adore the chill,
and the pimples on our gooseflesh.
I cry – El Llorar!
El Llorar!
Lo siempre.
No tengo…
Grace.
Isabella, fortunata.
Faith.
Guillermo en la gratto.
Rabbits runs by,
passed the squirrels
and the opossums
and the millions of spiders;
And my cracked window;
And my mind’s eye;
To the swish of
the silent whisper
of the sea;
Here,
on the Purlein Coast.
