i know bombs are boring…..in 3 parts

1.
i do hate to sound trite
when we’re promised eclipses
and shooting stars
and magical mystics tonight

But along with our regular sound effects
while watching the glowing skies
chickens in tango and bulls shitting loud
we’ve got bombcrashes wiping out lives

We try to be cool
as we circulate Chi
At one with communal flow
yet earth starts to shake
like that long ago quake
and i contemplate cruel status quo

2.
when things are the most terrifying,
hurtful and shocking,
dr. seuss seems to work well,
limericks
for 2 year olds,
verses benign
rhymes to rock me
into sublime
kinda tolerance
or psychical ease

hard to explain
but i invite you
to learn,
come taste
the life of israelis

3.
and so many others
for whom reality
never stops
it’s not all our own backyard
it’s not all please and thank you
for polyester

sometimes it’s so Now
that it’s lethal
