For Adele, a fellow poet

I turned sideways today,
and saw you,
followed your cobwebbed pages,
line for line I breathed you in,
Creating a dancing fugue
within your song.
Dont ask me why,
Its just something I do,
stepping into your reality,
for a while.
With clean hands
remove the pen from your pocket,
A crisp white paper for you,
Write the next chapter,
I dare you.

Passions past of those that breathe in shadow,
see no beauty in the solitary sun,
your light will thrive elsewhere,
that is your weapon,
use it,
I dare you.

Turn around and scream in unison,
with the creatures made of hate,
You abraxian princess,
will tilt the scales
in this story.

Take time aside,
let it pillow your sleep,
Proud in your courage
and couragous in your strength,
You,
Yes YOU!
write the next chapter,
I dare you.
