Infinately divided, are we.
Maybe the firm can
rush to catch the coins that fall
from your worn pockets as
you fall from grace, like so many times before.

Maybe I can bring a note
from mom that says
that I am her favorite and
that I am good for a 20 spot.

That land shark loan is not invisible.
So, you can’t multiply it,
subtract it, retract it,
wax it or add it.
And because it’s not invisible,
it sure as hell is not divisible.

Big white hands
stretching from big dirty business,
can sweep you onto your ass,
before you have time to consult
your gold plated Wall St. Journal,
or tie your silver coated shoes.

Check your diamond encrusted watch
before you go cashin’ any checks,
because the remitter’s memory
may just become as bland as your check.
