Spain:
She sighs and pulls up her skirt
the sun burns on her eyes and
her smile seems to hide
secrets only women know
only women posses
men obsess
and the birds watch as the heat of the day
becomes more fluid
how the right colour mixed with the right smell
can become a painting that will last
for half at least half an hour- call it impressionism

The sultry of the sunday
treackles sweat on lazy lips
and becomes a song of sex
a loving of the future
and a celebration of life
as the birds watch
and keep still
