to me it sounds insulting
for me to say to you
“you’re perfect for me”
but even tho i have these issues
with self worth and
masochism
i can recognize from an intellectual standpoint
that i’m just having issues,
so thats really a compliment, after all
and, besides,
you’re perfect for me

when you tell me
that i’m perfect for you
i dont even know why
i have to try
at anything else

the footprints swirling
in leaves
in snow
are still there
swimming and smiling and
swirling

isnt that something?
