and spelter
of the prison years.

Of all I’ve promised,
breathing deep
and looking at,
truly seeing the night sky,
with stars ablazoned
with faults and loves,
kindness and tenderness of
every character of the Bible,
and every novel-ever-written.

The only thing,
5 years hence,
not lost it’s flavor.
