Apologies: had to share

tonight you have a lot of choices

let’s have some fun, forget about work
anyway, your boss sounds like a jerk

dinner downtown with live jazz voices
or single-malt at a hotel…filled with Rolls-Royces?

At Top of the Tower we’ll have nice views
but at Arthur’s Tavern you don’t need dress shoes

playing pool downtown means a long, tight dress
buffalo wings and beer and my hair will be a mess

there are dark places where we can hide out and kiss
but, oh, what a show the others would miss

we have quite a gift, wherever we run
we can’t get away from having fun

so no matter what you choose, we won’t get stuck
and if we do, we’ll just go home and
