to mother Earth, deep at the core of
meteorites in millions, showering.
Atmospheric pressure, the friction of entry
peeling the crust, warming the seed
the universe is hatching it’s eggs
there, where the soil is fertile
the dust shall spread it all over
this be not just a meteorite shower
do you believe in divine power
poised to come lower and lower
t’is, nought but universal lust
In whom was it that we did trust?
