Too Late, the Zero

In summing sum of all my worth,
apparently I’ve fallen
way too short
devoid of hair
blind in one eye
deaf in one ear
fat nosed and toothless mouth,
appearing apparently thus;
Cold in one heart
game in one leg
crook’d of arm and
crooked in one finger
that points not straight the
the way to distant stars;
And subtracting all I
might have been that once
could give me worth,
but failed to be,
I cannot sum up sum of
even zero.
Therefore nothing may I give
to any present heart,
accustomed as they are
to equal two
by adding one plus one;
thence dividing them by them,
and coming up with one True Love,
not none.
Too late,
you zero.
