Parent message is 81438
is it pain
when you are free
the wind in the pines
sings a lonesome song
the mares look to you
for sweet grassy plains
and cool waterholes
responsibilities
come with freedom
and you never know
when the red stallion
will show up
snorting his challenge
to your peaceful life
winter is cold
pawing thru the snow
and the wolves circle
waiting for you
to drop your guard
alone in splendor
alone in beauty
alone in moonless nights
the solitary sentinal
surrounded by love
the mountains embrace
the tears of the streams
the tender touch of sky
upon your back
freedom has it’s flies
and burrs, true
but there will be no
cozy corrals for you
