all right all you kickers. there shouldn’t be any more complaints about the lack of a litkicks chat environment after this. unless they are complaints about the lack of an environment bound to the litkicks page. i can’t do anything about that. but here’s what i did:

there is now a litkicks channel for all mIRC users. here’s what you do to get on it:

if you don’t have it already, download mIRC from mirc.com

when you install it, it will direct you on how to register your username. i would recommmend using your litkicks nick or some slight variation thereof.

once you have a nickname, you’ll need to connect to the server:

irc.dal.net

after that, all you do is type this command into the
console:

/join #litkicks

that will open a window with the litkicks chat channel.

when i’m around i’ll be moderating, and if people actually use this channel, we’ss set some other SOp’s in case x2i shows up and needs to get kicked. this channel is for chatting, but i don’t want flames to get spread there. if you need to argue, you can open up personal chat windows from the channel.

levi: i hope you don’t mind that i named the channel litkicks. if you do, i can change it. if you think you’ll ever be dropping in, e-mail me at inextremis@shaw.ca and tell me your nickname. i’ll set you as a SOp so that you have admin privs upon login.
