i wasn’t thinking of a certain one
but of the general way your pictures
make eye and mind move and shine –

but now that you ask, and i am
thinking of the prints you sent me…
those looking glasses would be great;
and i am also sure (though i’ve never seen ’em)
that you also have some stuff in warm
glowing desert colours, alive in a crackling
interplay of fire and earth… and
i’d love to see that living on my chest!

(i’ll let you know when the postcard arrives… it’s usually about a week from the u.s. to here, and 4-5 days from here to there – your post is a little slower, but a lot less expensive than ours…)
