So far, the response has been really encouraging. Many people sent donations via Paypal, and a few more via snail mail. I’m incredibly happy to see how much people care. At this point the money is going into a restructuring of my server host contract (where, right now, it’s most needed). Longer term, donations will help us publish books, add features to the site and do better live events.
In terms of you personally getting sponsored to appear at Battle Creek, Learned, maybe you could hit up some of your neighbors, or run a bake sale or darts tournament or something. Would love to see you there.
