I don’t know of any good open source book layout software. Personally, I use Microsoft Word because it’s all I have and it does the job, but I never like the way Microsoft programs work (always trying to guess what I’m trying to type and auto-complete stuff I don’t want them to auto-complete, for instance) and I wish there were something better.
