My friend has a shadow (please comment)

My friend
Is a good friend,
Long have we talked of the things to come.
My friend
Is a great friend,
We’ve spent so many nights just in talking.

My friend has
Always been there for me,
He has never let me down.
My friend has
Always stuck up for me,
Through all the fits and fights.

My friend has a
Car that does seventy at the most,
And even then it rattles.
My friend has a
Love for animals,
He’ll never let a stray go unnoticed.

My friend has a shadow,
And it only comes out in the day,
Though sometimes at night when the light is right.
My friend has a shadow,
That repeats his movements,
To the best of its ability.

My friend has a shadow on his lung,
And the doctors say that they will investigate,
Using all their powers of detection.
My friend has a shadow on his lung,
And all I can think to do is write this silly poem,
And wonder.

I’m beginning to wonder.
