1)
Let’s start behaving
like intellectuals do,
talking about Delphi
it’s oracle and Apollo,
the theatre prologues
for a mighty stadium
overwhelmed with memorizing hooligans
But then, as happens every time
there at the foot of a wall,
dog burning in the sun,
seen it so often,
yet this one set its eyes
for knowledge of decaying
A few hours more and the ants
already overwhelming the animal
like a platoon of hooligans,
will be tip-toeing home
an oven-baked supper
The statues were marvellous, by the way,
I took a picture.
2)
If we could rape each other,
we would
Carnal, immediate satisfaction,
brute, without repercussion
So many thing remain utopia,
life is stiff as death
we reach for obtaining purity,
so accept the thorn
of sleeping and company
