She will always be with me (Edit)

She was a woman of the earth;
a friend, a soul sister.
Our time was short,
but valued, cherished.

The radiance of her smile
in every sunrise; genuine.
Her laughter,
lightness of a bubbling spring;
cooling the heat of summer day.
Her tears of pain,
the downpours of heaven implored;
staining my shoulder.
Her streaks of anger;
metal blue against the darkened thoughts
of the storms she lived.

But the twinkle in her eyes,
canopies the night skies
still…

Peaceful rest to you my friend

It’s been 15 months since her passing, but some days the pain still feel too fresh.

*Doesn’t feel right…still needs work. Any suggests? (my punctuation sucks)
