Viewing limbs bony skeletal trees ripped
of flesh
naked autumn clothing trees stark
and stripped
like skeletons, leaves rippling wind
in the Twiglet twilights
the dust stars through branches
spattered
blackboard specks
flesh peeled into brown scatterings
and sometimes soggy leaf,
they touch wet ground,
showing example
not ashamed of the inner structure
crisp milky stars like
bitter cold.
