coffee, paper, 2 dollar scratcher
anticipation

removes the silver surface
as usual I’m a number short
of that magic 3, 5, 6
100, 1000, 10000 dollars

as I pull out
I hope for a side impact
or full frontal
accident
something that wont mame
too badly
and leave me with a bit more to show
than silver shavings
and an empty cup
