6:30 holy communion lakeside
To sit in the sand and examine self
Cold wind and somberness in with the tide
Perfect time to assess my mental health
Driftwood and pebbles, beach grass, and seagull
Calculate salvation, count my soul’s wealth
Which dogma will I renew? Which annul?
Me the DaDa-Judeo-Buddha-WASP
I interrogate my faith once a day
I read the bible, kabbalah, koran
I think I know but I’m afraid to say
Nobody is home but the lights are on
So where is my vision, where is my proof
Show me, my creator, where is my truth
