Wanderer’s eye

Shine on Old Moon for bright young planet
Diamond star in the sky!
Till mountains crumble and ivory towers
Dance in wanderer’s eye

Shine on through her spring and late summer
Glimmer bright in her passing glow
Till winter’s night falls gently over her wastelands
And covers dead fields with snow

And when storms of Winter’s depth and death
Take fading star of mine!
Shine bright once more before spring takes her breath
And leads her wandering eye.
