i do believe
each one of us
is made of more
than meets the eye
even those
self proclaimed
superficial
sorts have
that something
bigger than
visible
yes, including
those of us
who’ve tried
and failed
with relationships..
our human-ness
shows
and we try
to do better
and pray to
not be judged
by our brothers.
