I just returned home from work, and saw this post of yours, Andy. I felt it was a reply to my own post, and not so much a reply to whom you posted under.

I do understand you present viewpoint about the inequalities that go on in the world daily, nay, even each minute. To list all those injustices and grievances would be redundant, as I know we are both informed enough about them.

However, my main point in my post of yesterday, was to try and overcome, indeed surpass, the past and this present state of ignorance that the world is engaged in. It is possible to rise above all the bullshit that is wagged in our faces thru the media, it is possible for any of us to rise above the ‘ad nauseum’ of daily life, if only we open ourselves up to the truth of life. “The Truth of Life..?” you may ask… it can be had. Granted, not many of us have a clue as to how this can be had, or even what the fuck “Truth” really is.

If I were to even suggest to you a possible path, I feel that your present state of mind would seek to find the opposing side. You seem to have reached a point in your knowledge of this world that we call “political”, and it is a valid view that you hold. However, if you continue to discover your own self, you will find that politics is a much larger game that requires you to become a cheat and a liar – hardly anything one could be proud of becoming, and those that seemingly do…well, if you only knew the pain and suffering that the politician deals with when they are alone with themselves… they may be admired by their consituencies, they may receive kudos from their benefactors, but deep within their own hearts they realize their weakness, their desperations, their lives of deceit and foolishness.

Just thru your posting what you have, Andy, I can presume that you do have the braveness to continue the fight against ignorance and lies, and that includes the battle to ‘know yourself’, the greatest challenge there is.

Good luck to you,

Cecil
