I just watched the newsconference given by our embarrassment of a national leader, g w bush

I expected to see the little ring connected to a string in his neck that makes the doll speak and repeat slogan after slogan. I don’t know how they get the little robot to do that…just stand up there and read from the prep=sheet and call on the planted question.

And one of the things that kept going through my mind as I heard him repeating the same buzz words over and over “weapons of mass destruction” ” terrorists” “the attack of 911” “security” “we are going to war for peace” was that here was the personification of newspeak.
