we always think we are so much more moral

If you look into the past each age thought it was ‘moral’ more advanced, civilised:
nothing has changed, infact in Western society corrupt individuals have even less constrains.
i.e. No serious religeous inhibitions

The Western mainstream view of the world is pure fantasy – perpetuated by the niavity of the modern period – a world view that in its demistification of the things perpetuates a kind of innocence where we look at the world and expect it to honestly present itself – everything is explained – it all fits: education – government – science – economy – morality – technology – progress!!

Yet all our moral Christian based concepts are hypocritical and our faith in them is only sustained through falsification e.g.:

Democracy (as long as you dont elect the wrong people)

Equality (Yet we impose economic slavery on less developed countries – whole nations of slaves/’prolitariate’ – so called ‘asian tiger economis’ making our shirts our belts with no unions and and 16+ hour shifts etc.)

What Im saying is that their is ultimatly an underlying world view in the West to do with ‘progress’ and
‘morality’ and it is a pure superficial fallacy – we live in just as immoral times as when there where plantations with slaves picking cotton!
